    <description>&lt;P&gt;I think you meant a 1099-DIv&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you should NOT receive a 1099-Div for dividends related to an IRA.&amp;nbsp; That doesn't make sense.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for an IRA, any transactions within the IRA (stock sales, dividends, interest, etc) are not taxable.&amp;nbsp; only when you distribute money from the IRA is that a taxable event,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
