      <description>&lt;P&gt;Create a zero-based budget, meaning you list all your income for the month and plan your expenses for the month. To reduce debt you will have to make sure you spend less on monthly expenses than your income and plan for the excess to be used to pay down debt. Personally I like Dave Ramsey's snowball (lowest balance first) because it works encouraging and keeps you motivated to complete the journey.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
