So I just opened my first credit card no longer then a month ago, my 1st credit payment is due in 2 weeks. My issue is that i received an email from turbo 2 days ago that "Your TransUnion credit report shows that 06 KEMPER SPECIALTY CALIFORNIA has reported you to a collections agency for a past due balance." (Copied from email) I looked it up and its car insurance company but i dont even have my driver license. So j knew this was not me. But turbo tax does show me my credit score yet. My question is how can I solve this.

contact the credit bureau and register a complaint; they are obligated to fix it.

I would also find out exactly who this insurance company is and give them a call as well.
