try a low limit card like first premier bank which has limits like around $350 or a capital one card. and remember, no shopping sprees 🙂 the idea is to be 'debt-free' not accumulate debt. spend what you KNOW you can pay off each month. i can't tell you how high my score keeps jumping off by only having a small bal. and paying it off each month.
