Improving credit score

I have a very low credit score but I have never had a credit card and I want to know how I can improve my credit so that I can purchase a home. I do not know if there are any secured credit cards that I can apply for even with a low score like mine.

Also, perhaps another way to improve credit score is to consolidate your CC debt into a personal loan. I know several people did this and it not only helped them get out of debt but help to improve their credit score. check it out:
