      <title>I receive a 1099R from my husband's former employer which is showm as taxable for Pa., which it is not.  I entered the exact info from the 1099 into Turbo tax but can't get this corrected.  Help</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There are two possible issues:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; The 1099R is not marked correctly, either in the program or on the form.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;You&amp;nbsp;need to go back to the federal input screen and make sure the state distribution is&amp;nbsp;marked as zero.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If the 1099R shows a state distribution, you may need to be sure it is not taxable. If it is not taxable, contact the issuer for a corrected 1099-R.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;2. The income may be taxable.
