I am a retired private citizen and an amateur photographer. A regional magazine has published one of my photographs and paid me $50.00. How do I enter this in TurboTax?

I am not incorporated as a business, and I don't normally even try to earn money from my photography, so I have no idea how to enter this in TurboTax, but I assume I need to enter this $50.00 as income. Any help would be most appreciated.

You need to report this income as Other Reportable Income.

In TurboTax, open your return and follow these steps:

Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages and Income on top of the screen
Scroll down to All Income, locate the Less Common Income section
Click Show more and click Start next to Miscellaneous Income at the bottom
On the next page, click Start next to Other Reportable Income.
