      <description>&lt;P&gt;If I understand correctly, the Social Security number in TurboTax is wrong, but you entered the correct number on your W-2.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If I got that right and you tried to file your return it will be REJECTED.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you have not filed it, or if it was REJECTED, here are the steps to correct it&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Go to PERSONAL INFORMATION&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;When your at Your Personal Info Summary&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Select EDIT next to your name&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Now make the appropriate correction&lt;/LI&gt;
