Why is my pension of $2067.00 for the year not listed on my 2016 return. I entered it but don’t see yet?

Line 16 A/16 B on my 1040 return empty. It does not show my $2067 yearly pension. I now notice it has not been Entered for the last couple years. Guess I haven’t had to pay tax on that pension amount.

You got 1099R for it? What code is in box 7?

However, disability pensions shown on Form 1099-R (if you haven’t reached the minimum retirement age set by your employer) end up on line 7 as Wages, etc.

If it’s on the wrong line the IRS probably will miss it and say you didn’t report it. Check the 1099R. Is the little IRA box between boxes 7 & 8 checked? That tells it which line to go on.
