      <description>&lt;P&gt;First, see if the return rejects as it may due to having the 1099R reported as a W-2.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This would be great if it does, as then you will correct it and then e-file it again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it does get processed, then wait for the refund and keep refund.&amp;nbsp; Then you would file an amended return.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 1099R would be reported as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;&amp;nbsp;To enter pension and annuity Payments (1099-R&lt;/B&gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;Click on Federal Taxes&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click on Wages and Income&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;If amended needed see below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;
