You may also use this alternative way to enter the State refund information reported on the 1099-G, in TurboTax, by doing the following:

Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your TurboTax CD/Download program
Click to Continue your return/Take me to my return
Click on Federal Taxes (choose the option: I'll choose what I work on, if offered)
Click on Wages & Income
Locate Other Common Income and click to Show More
Locate Refunds Received for State/Local Tax Returns and click Start or Edit
