      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you do have to amend. The question "what did you do with the plan" refers to any rollovers or any other transactions that would make your distribution nontaxable. Please amend and report 1099-R to avoid any future correspondence from the IRS; after all, they have a copy of 1099-R and will be looking for it on your tax return.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your return has been submitted- please wait - if it's
rejected for some reason, you can add your 1099-R and re-send the return.&lt;/P&gt;
