topic What program do i use for social security? in Retirement tax questions

both my wife and i are disabled. i get social security payments, she does not. i get medicaid, she does not. she gets obamacare, i do not.

when i was adding information, turbo tax stated that i get a refund of $9, but i have to upgrade to a $60 program to get the $9. i really don't care about the $9. is there anyway to file without having to spend that much? can i just file with the free software and not worry about the $9? this should be a simple tax file. we only really worrying about filing because apparently it is needed to keep my wife on obamacare.

(i am actually asking for my parents with the best of my knowledge, i was trying to help them through everything and this problem came up)
