      <description>&lt;P&gt;During the PA interview, TurboTax will ask what type of retirement plan distribution each `1099R represents.&amp;nbsp; The answer to this question determines if that distribution is taxable as some 1099R's are partially or fully taxable.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Generally, if box 7 of the 1099R is coded 4 or 7, it is not taxable to PA.&amp;nbsp; If box 7 includes a "D"&amp;nbsp; (commercial annuity), then it is taxable same as federal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
