Your only proof of payment is your bank statement or credit card showing the payment coming. Turbo Tax only passes your bank account number to the state for the state to take it out of your account. But most states do not let you pay by Direct Debit so you have to mail in a check or go directly to the state's website to pay.

Hello I was sent an Income Execution Letter in March, this was the first I had heard of this. I called NY Tax and Finance and they stated they have been sending notifications to my old address for 2 years! They did have in their system that all letters were returned to their dept. I spent 2 hours on the phone reviewing the Levy and they stated it was from 2014.

Today I received and Release of Income Execution notice. What does this letter mean?
