topic Social security for deceased taxpayer in Retirement tax questions

Husband died in May 2015. Received social security deposit in June. Deposit was returned to ssa in August. 1099 for tax year 2015 included the returned amount so it was included in 2015 tax return and taxes were paid on it. Got deposit in January 2016 and received 1099 in my name but it was already reported on return for tax year 2015. Can I just ignore it on this year's return since tax was already paid on it?

Corrected tax year of husband's 1099 to 2015
