    <description>&lt;P&gt;There would need to be an offset placed on your account for them to take your tax refund for a student loan debt.&amp;nbsp; You can inquire as to whether there has been an offset placed on your account by calling the Department of Treasury Offset Program at 1-800-304-3107.&amp;nbsp; That being said, its unlikely there is an offset unless you were in default of the loans - forbearance&amp;nbsp;in itself would not lead to an offset.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
