      <description>&lt;P&gt;If your &lt;B&gt;only income &lt;/B&gt;is &lt;B&gt;social security benefits &lt;/B&gt;and those benefits are &lt;B&gt;not over $25,000&lt;/B&gt;, then &lt;B&gt;none &lt;/B&gt;of it is &lt;B&gt;taxable&lt;/B&gt; and you are not required to file a return.&amp;nbsp;If you have&lt;B&gt; other income &lt;/B&gt;along with your&amp;nbsp;social security income, then &lt;B&gt;some &lt;/B&gt;of&amp;nbsp;your&lt;B&gt; benefits could be taxable&lt;/B&gt;. However, &lt;B&gt;only&lt;/B&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;B&gt;half &lt;/B&gt;of your social security benefits are included when determining if they are taxable or not.
