      <description>&lt;P&gt;How did you pay the tax? &amp;nbsp;If it was withheld from the distribution by the trustee, you need to get the plan trustee to issue a corrected 1099-R. &amp;nbsp;There isn't any other procedure that wouldn't result in an IRS letter and bill for taxes due.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>It was withheld by the trustee (Fidelity). I intentionally had them withhold double the minimum amount so that I could avoid a hit when I filed taxes. I will definitely call them and see if there's an error. I've never had to file a 1099-r before so didn't know if this was common. Thanks!</description>
