      <description>TT did reduce 16b by $2046.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I have the full $3000 when adding in additional premiums though.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;That is my issue; how to claim other premiums paid from pension when TT only asking to confirm the $2046 from Box 5 of 1099-R.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Appreciate the assistance.</description>

      <description>Found solution.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Go to 1040 form and click on box 16b.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Will not permit change but another click takes you to 1099-R worksheet.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Scroll down to last entry under Insurance which references total qualified insurance premiums paid subtracted from an eligible retired public safety officer's distribution.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Enter total amount of eligible premiums there.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Line 16b of 1040 will properly apply the credit for the amount entered.</description>
