If an import has failed, then the best thing to do is to delete the form (1099-R in this case), and re-add it from scratch manually (i.e., don't just re-import it again). On the screen that shows your 1099-Rs (do a Search for "1099-r" without the double quotes and jump to it), you can use the Delete button to the right of a 1099-R to delete it (online).

Of course, it goes without saying that you will want to copy down all the information on the 1099-R first before deleting it.

I tried fixing multiple times so must delete but see no delete option on the 1099R form
