    <description>&lt;P&gt;After I enter the information from the 1099-R I go through questions on qualified plan, great they are qualified.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I get several questions about roll-overs.&amp;nbsp; Why?&amp;nbsp; I don't know what to answer.&amp;nbsp; We get retirement funds from the accounts we put into.&amp;nbsp; Also questions about was this amount paid in taxes added to the $$$ or part of the $$$ received.&amp;nbsp; Why this question?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;First, after you select&amp;nbsp; "&lt;B&gt;From a Qualified Plan&lt;/B&gt;", the next question is asking what you did with the money.&amp;nbsp; If you keep the money because it's your retirement payment you should select "&lt;B&gt;........ did something else with it (cashed it out, etc)&lt;/B&gt;. This simply means you kept the money and did not put it into another retirement account. Then select that "&lt;B&gt;........ got regular payments from this account&lt;/B&gt;".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The amount paid in taxes would be "part of the $$$ received" if you did not add money for the taxes and because you would know if this did pertain to you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have a &lt;U&gt;code in box 7, that is other than code 7&lt;/U&gt;, you can add a comment to include the code and I can help further.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Lastly, if you did not rollover to another retirement account you can just say no.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;[Edited: 03.08.2018 | 8:53 AM]&lt;/P&gt;</description>
