      <description>&lt;P&gt;Box 2a and box 14 of the 1099R are showing you what is taxable income.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the amount in box 1 is higher that the box 2a, the difference is most likely your basis as it is not taxable to you. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
