    <description>&lt;P&gt;That's correct.&amp;nbsp; Code B indicates that the distribution is from a designated Roth account in an employer plan like a 401(k), not from a Roth IRA.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Make sure that the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box is not marked on TurboTax's 1099-R form.&amp;nbsp; Also make sure to answer No if TurboTax asks if the distribution was from a Roth IRA.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I enter B and 7 in box 7 I get the error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;A distribution code of A, B, F, H, or L shouldn't be used for IRA distributions&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Box 1 has a value of 154.01 and box 2a has a value of 0 on my 1099-R&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
