If youhave a 401K and an IRA Annuity does an RMD from one account suffice for both RMD's as long as you've taken enough for both RMD's

The distribution from the 401(k) does not satisfy the RMD for your IRA. The IRA RMD must be satisfied from the IRA. Also, distributions from your IRA do not satisfy the RMD for the 401(k). Each must be satisfied separately.

You can aggregate all IRA RMDs and take a single distribution from one IRA account to satisfy them all; however, as dmertz stated, the IRS requires that RMDs from 401(k) plans be calculated and taken separately from each specific 401(k) plan.
