      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5972432"&gt;@vmvmvm44&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1)&amp;nbsp; Wah is in box 2a&amp;nbsp; (same as box 1 or not? or nothing?)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2)&amp;nbsp; What is the code in box 7?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;___________________&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for 20,000 in box 1 (and 2a if it makes a difference)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1)&amp;nbsp; If the code in box 7 is a G, from doing a direct transfer.....they only need to ask the ROTH questions, and a transfer/rollover to another retirement account is assumed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...when I do that in a test file (box 2a same as box 1), an look at my 1040, the amount shows up on line 5a, but is not included in line 5b.&amp;nbsp; (Just answering NO to the ROTH questions)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2)&amp;nbsp; IF the code in box 7 is not a G, then there are a series of questions about what you did with the money.&amp;nbsp; One of which asks about it and you select either&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;a)&amp;nbsp; "Y&lt;SPAN&gt;es, I rolled over $20,000.00 to an IRA or&lt;U&gt; &lt;EM&gt;other retirement account&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt; (or returned it to the same account).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;or ....if taxes were withheld, and you didn't make them up when put into the TSP&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;b)&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;"No, I rolled over less than $20,000.00.".........and then get to indicate what was actually rolled.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;___________________&lt;BR /&gt;But if no questions like #2, maybe you were in situation #1&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
