      <description>&lt;P&gt;Social Security income is reported in the &lt;STRONG&gt;Retirement Income &lt;/STRONG&gt;section, which is a subtopic of Wages &amp;amp; Income.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If you expand the Retirement Income section, you should see a subtopic for Social Security,&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;In any case, here's a shortcut to get there and enter Social Security income shown on an SSA-1099.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;With your return open go to the left menu column and click on&lt;STRONG&gt; TAX TOOLS&lt;/STRONG&gt; then subtab &lt;STRONG&gt;TOOLS.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In the Tools window choose the blue button&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;TOPIC SEARCH.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In the search line enter the term&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt; SSA-1099&lt;/STRONG&gt; without quotes.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Make the selection in the list to highlight it, and either double-click on it or click GO.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Next screen should say:&amp;nbsp; &lt;EM&gt;"&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Did you receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits in 2025?"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;If so, in&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;dicate "yes", and continue answering screens until you finish that section.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;</description>
