I inherited an IRA from my mother and the bank rolled it over into a Retirement Savings Account. On 07/28/2025 I closed the account and Fed Taxes were withheld. The bank did not send me a 1099R but instead a letter with all the information shown on withdrawal and taxes. How can I report this in TurboTax?

It will be reported in TurboTax as though you had received the 1099-R. Use the letter with the descriptions to enter the taxable distributions.

Here's how to navigate to the 1099-R section:

TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to 1099-R.
TurboTax Desktop: Select Search Topics. Search for and select 1099-R.
