      <description>&lt;P&gt;On the 1099-R Box 16 &amp;nbsp;is &lt;STRONG&gt;State Distribution.&lt;/STRONG&gt; &amp;nbsp;It is typically the same as in Box 1.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Box 14 is &lt;STRONG&gt;State Tax Withheld. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt; This will be pre-posted for taxes withheld for the state.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
