Your Social Security income is reported on your tax return but only up to 85% of the benefits are taxable. You can preview your 1040 to see both the total and the taxable amounts.

Continue your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
Click the drop-down arrow next to Tax Tools (lower left side of your screen).
Select Tools.
Under Other helpful links…, click View Tax Summary.
At the left side of the screen, click Preview My 1040.
Scroll down to line 20 of Form 1040 or Line 14 of Form 1040A. The taxable amount is on line 20b or line 14b. (Click the screenshot below for reference.)
