I keep having having an amount show up as railroad retirement but I have none

See if there is an RRB-1099-R in the list of your tax return forms, schedules and worksheets. If there is then delete the form.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

It is possible that you selected the wrong form when reporting a 1099-R form on your return:
