It depends. Do you mean electronically file a 1099 MISC form that you need to create for a contractor type of employee for your self-employed business? If so, 1099 MISC forms can be created for free within certain TurboTax versions using its Quick Employer Forms software. These 1099 MISC forms can also be filed electronically with the federal government.
