topic Retirement in 2024 in Retirement tax questions

I worked from January - March 2024. I have a very small W2 form which I am unable to resize. I have been on Social Security since May 2024. How do I file my taxes using TurboTax Desktop? Do you take the PDF forms. I also have interest from savings and I CD. Can I file using my PDF's? They are on my desktop. Thanks.

Just key in your W-2 by hand.

Key in your SSA1099 from Social Security

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

Thanks. Will it allow PDF's? Someone in the community said it does not. I have all of my PDF's on my desktop. Thanks.

If you have a couple of simple documents like a 1099INT or something from a CD (a 1099R?) it is pretty easy to just key them in by hand or maybe you can import them from the bank or financial institution's websites.
