I live in Louisiana since 9-15-18, I earn no income here. I retired from the CA Teacher Retirement System 7-1-18, I get a monthly benefit, Do I file a LA tax return?

Yes, you need to file a Louisiana Part Year tax return to report the portion of your retirement you received after you moved.

You will report the other portion on the state for the state in which you live previously.
