You can add new forms in forms mode. Click the Open Form icon at the top of the list of forms. In the Open Form window, type 1099-R in the box that says "Type a form name." Then below that click on Form 1099-R and click the Open Form button at the bottom. It will then give you the option to enter a payer's name to create a new 1099-R.

I recently purchased and installed Turbo Tax Premier for 2024. It also updated today.
I need to use 1099-R to see how much of a Roth Conversion I can do, and the system is telling me the form won't be available until January. It will be too late then. I was able to update a few 1099-r forms using the Forms option rather than step-by-step. But I need to add a couple.

Is there a work around besides doing a test return using TT 2023?
