Do you mean that you used the simplified method to calculate the taxable amount of a pension distribution, and you want to see the calculation? Using TurboTax Online you have to print your tax return in order to see the worksheet. When you print (create a PDF) select the option to "include government and TurboTax worksheets." In the PDF find the Form 1099-R for the pension. The Simplified Method Worksheet is all the way at the bottom of the 1099-R form.

Or do you mean that you want to know how to make TurboTax use the simplified method? In TurboTax Online you cannot access the form directly. After you enter your 1099-R and answer a lot of questions, TurboTax will ask some questions to determine whether you need to calculate the taxable amount. If so, it will then ask you which method to use. Select simplified method, and you will then be able to enter the information needed for TurboTax to do the calculation.

The Simplified Method only applies to periodic distributions. When entering the Form 1099-R that reports the distribution(s) and you indicate that you received "regular" distributions (distributions at regular intervals) and you indicate that the amount in box 2a of the Form 1099-R does not indicate the correct taxable amount, TurboTax will offer the option to use the Simplified Method to determine the taxable amount.
