No, if you do not have valid login credentials then instead of importing the information, click on "I'll type it in myself" and enter your 1099R by keying it in by hand.

I'm trying to import 1099 R into Turbo Tax. Login (into investment account) is not working because the investment account has been closed because of total withdrawal, and investment company is not returning my calls. Is there any way to import without using log in information for investment company account?

No, there's not way to import the form without logging into the account, but you may be able to upload it.

Here's how to enter the form manually:

Open your return.

Select Wages & Income.

Scroll down to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), select Start or Revisit to the right.

Answer Yes to Did you get a 1099-R in 2023? or if there's already one there, select Add 1099-R.

Select Change how I enter my form.

Upload the form using one of the options, or select Type it in myself.

Select the Form 1099-R tile, then Continue.

Answer remaining screens according to your situation.
