topic IRA in Retirement tax questions

I was not covered by any retirement plan for 2023 and hence Box 13 is not checked. I did some IRA but for some reason the IRA work sheet on line 10 is boxed? I am not able to unbox it. Where and what can I do to unchecked the box as it is not calculating my IRA deduction properly.

First double check your W-2 entry if the box 13 retirement is checked:

Login to your TurboTax Account
Click on "Search" on the top right and type “W-2”
Click on “Jump to W-2”

If the box isn't checked then go back to the IRA contribution interview:

Login to your TurboTax Account
Click on "Search" on the top right and type “IRA contributions”
Click on “Jump to IRA contributions"
Select “traditional IRA”
Answer “No” to “Is This a Repayment of a Retirement Distribution?”
Enter the amount you contributed
Answer “No” to the recharacterized question on the “Did You Change Your Mind?” screen
On the "Retirement Plan Coverage?" screen and answer "No"

What codes are present in box 12 of your W-2? Have you entered those code correctly into TurboTax?
