If you did not itemize your deductions on the 2022 tax return and took the Standard Deduction you have no need to amend the 2022 tax return since charitable donations can only be entered on Schedule A as an itemized deduction.

The response received from the Turbo Tax community did not answer my question. Obviously, in order to remove a contribution from my 2022 return I had to have itemized deductions, which I did. I was looking for a link with my 2022 federal return saying "amend" a prior year's return.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year 2022 and Click on Amend (change) 2022 return
