Is anyone else experiencing issues with the energy tax credit form 5695 being incorrect? I believe the 2022 and prior form is being used, not the 2023 - 2033 form.

The system is showing the max credit is $500, but that isn't correct. The updated IRS credit allows for $1,200 annually, regardless of prior years.

It is possible that the numbers currently shown with regard to Form 5695 are not updated for 2023. That form has been delayed and has not been released for printing or filing.

Take a look at the following TurboTax help article for the current estimated date that the form will be ready to use. Keep in mind that when a date is given, it is unknown what time of day the updates are released, so it is better to wait until at least one more day to see if the new version is ready:
