      <description>&lt;P&gt;The problem isn't the number, it's that the IRS will notice that you did not file a 1099-R. At the least, you would get a letter from the IRS with a recalculated tax invoice, with interest added on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I assume that you have already filed, and that your return was accepted?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If so, you will need to amend your return with form 1040X. The 1040X is not scheduled to be ready until 2/14/24. HOWEVER, these date can and do change, therefore you should watch &lt;A href="https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&amp;amp;product=Turbotax_online&amp;amp;bu=cg" target="_blank"&gt;the Forms Availability Page here&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
