I don’t have additional retirement savings contributions but Turbo Tax won’t let me change the information under that tab. I can’t file until I do.

I’ve tried changing the amount I can only assume Turbo Tax automatically entered but whenever I submit the information, the number remains the same. It’s demanding that I purchase delux in order to finish filing but I shouldn’t have to since as I said, I don’t actually have any retirement savings contributions. Please help.

Did you enter a W-2 with a code of D or E in box 12 with an amount shown in the box?

There’s no amount with the code of D or E in box 12, no.

Delete the W-2 and then entry the W-2 manually. This should correct the problem.
