      <description>&lt;P&gt;You've wife's age has no bearing on when you must begin taking distributions from your 401(k).&amp;nbsp; Filing status has no bearing on when you must begin taking distributions from your 401(k).&amp;nbsp; If you had not yet reached age 73 in 2022 or you are still working for the company that provides the 401(k), you don't have to take a distribution.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
