How do you choose which retirement is considered to be a rollover when you left the funds in the same account after rettirement?

A rollover is when you move the funds from one retirement account to another retirement account. If you left the funds in the same account, there is no rollover.

If you left the funds in your company pension account there was no rollover. If you transfer the money to your own IRA that would be a rollover.

If you left retirement funds in the same account you had before retirement, it is not a rollover until you move the funds into a new retirement account.
