    <description>&lt;P&gt;i was rejected for not putting a correct EIN for 1099-r.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the issue is when entering information they do not ask for EIN but the TIN, which i did put.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;on the form itself there is no EIN on the paper.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what can i do about the rejection for something i dont have?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On the form 1099R you may see the number called a Payer's TIN or EIN or FEIN; all mean the same number. &amp;nbsp;The payer's identification number. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You'll find it near the payer's name/address typically on the left hand side of the form and it will be a nine digit number in the format XX-XXXXXXX. &amp;nbsp;That entry is required for a successful e-file.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you still have trouble locating the number on the form you should contact the payer to get the correct number. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
