Hello, I have a question..

I filed my 2022 taxes and was told I made an excess contribution to my Roth IRA account. I filed my taxes and then I withdrew all contributions I made from my Roth IRA account. my question is, do I have to amend the 2022 tax return I have already filed?

It depends. If you reported the Roth IRA contribution and withdrawal on your 2022 tax return, you would not have to amend your 2022 tax return. If you did not report your contribution and withdrawal, you will receive a 1099-R with the distribution amount next year with codes P and J in box 7. You can wait until you receive it next year then amend your 2022 tax return.
