    <description>&lt;P&gt;You don't need to send a copy of any forms wh3n you efile. &amp;nbsp;The IRS gets it from the efile. &amp;nbsp;It's only if you mail your 1040 tax return to the IRS that you need to include W2 and any 1099 that show withholding on them. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The 1099 R says to send copy B if you have withholding. &amp;nbsp;The 1040 SR does not show withholding. That is why they want you to &amp;nbsp;send a copy of 1099 R. Nowhere does it say that if you e-file you don't need to send copy B.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4542819"&gt;@wre111531&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Line 25b of your form 1040/1040SR shows the total Federal withholding from all 1099 forms.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IF your box 4 withholding from your 1099-R is not included on that line's total amount, then you didn't enter those box 4 $$ on that 1099-R form when you entered it's data, and you need to go back and Edit that 1099-R form.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;_______&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;IF You E-file successfully&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; the IRS DOES NOT want you to mail in your 1099-R form, unless they specifically ask for it at some later date, by sending that request to you on paper...by snail-mail!&amp;nbsp; They simply do not have the staff to process unnecessary and spurious mailings of data.&amp;nbsp; They have enough problems dealing with the manual processing of millions of regular full tax returns that are mailed in.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
