I get a message to fix my state return. “Deductions Statement: Educator Smart Wks Ln B-SP should not have a value based on your filing status.” I never entered any value?

I don’t want to file my return by mail, but it keeps cycling back to fix the return or file by mail. I don’t see any value to remove, I’ve tried on desktop and app. I’ve tried entering zero instead (there was no value to start with, I never entered anything or was prompted to do so. Even looking at it to “fix” it’s just blank). It appears to be a glitch, how can I proceed?

I'm getting the same error too and I'm also in Virginia so this must be an issue and I'm pissed because I already paid turbo tax and so can't clear and start over.

Obviously there has to be some glitch in their software since its only Va residents that its affecting. I'm about to take the hit for the fees and go to H and R Block so I can efile since Intuit won't address this issue.

I’ve been trying sporadically throughout the weekend and was finally able to e-file today. I submitted feedback as “software issue” after I didn’t find a solution here in the community. Hopefully it’s fixed for everyone by now!
