My wife and I retired early last year (64 years of age) and are now collecting Social Security and taking disbursements from or ROTH and IRAs.

When filing my taxes, do we need to claim the dividends generated inside the IRAs or ROTHs?

I received the 1099-R forms for the disbursements from the accounts but nothing for the dividends contained in the IRAs and ROTHs.

No! You do not report the dividends paid inside your Roth IRAs or Traditional IRAs. You will not receive 1099s for the dividends paid inside the IRAs. The only things you need to report related to you IRAs are the 1099-Rs.

No. That's one reason to invest in an IRA. You don't report anything that happens inside the IRA. Not buys or sells, interest or dividends. Only distributions when you take it out. But then it is taxed at your normal tax rate and may push you into a higher tax bracket. And you don't get any tax advantages for lower capital gains tax on sales.
