To clarify, when you go into the "Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C" section you don't see any area as started? If yes, you will have to go into that area to delete it. What income did you enter?

Click "Wages & Income" (under Federal) on the left
Scroll down and click "Show more" next to "Less Common Income"
Click edit next to "Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C"

I have the same issue. I have inputted numbers to the Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C section that was erroneous, but when i click "Revisit" to delete what I added, I am unable to do this. Is there a way of doing this, or I need to delete inputs made and start over by inputting the W2s again?

Follow the steps below to remove the income reported under the Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C section.

Select Federal from the left side of the screen.
Select Wages & Income on the left side of the screen.
Scroll down to Less Common Income. Click Show more.
Click Start / Revisit to the right of Miscellaneous income….
Click Start / Revisit to the right of Other reportable income.
At the screen Other Miscellaneous Income Summary, click Delete trashcan to the right of the income to be removed.

@JamesG1 I think that is the issue i am running into - that very last step that should show the items i can delete. When I click Revisit "Other reportable income" I get the "Any Other Taxable Income?" screen which describes it and shows some examples - it does not bring up the logged income, never mind give me the option to delete. I am not sure if I have some version of TT that would not allow me delete option, or I am still doing something wrong.

It is there I can almost guarantee it. I prepared a re-enactment of your described event and entered Other Taxable income then went out and came back to Wages and Income and it is listed at the bottom of the list to Re-visit. I revisit and there is the option to edit or delete it.. See the screenshot below.

If you are not able to access this screen, then I suggest you clean up the computer by clearing your history, cookies and cache' reboot the see if you are allowed to delete this entry.

Clear History, Cookies, Cache'
